  Kimberly Raymond MD

  Medical Director | Co-Owner | Board-Certified Physician

  Dr. Raymond is a Board-Certified Physician with extensive training in dermatology, including treatment of acne, rosacea and pre-cancerous skin conditions. After completing her pre-med undergraduate studies at Boston College, she graduated from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she has held a faculty position since 2008. Her interest in the skin and anti-aging led her to complete an Aesthetic Medicine Certification in 2007. After founding and serving as Medical Director of a medispa in Shrewsbury, NJ, she worked for a local plastic surgery group from 2014-2021. Skilled in many advanced techniques, she specializes in facial aesthetics utilizing non-invasive procedures and injectables and holds several industry certifications, including Master Injector Juvederm from Allergan Aesthetics.

  Jessica Horowitz

  Wellness Director | Co-Owner | Chiropractic Physician

  Dr. Jessica Horowitz is a Chiropractic Physician who has worked in the Health and Wellness industry for the last 20 plus years. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. Dr Horowitz has spent her career teaching her patients how to be pain free and to live a healthier lifestyle through proper diet and exercise. She has a background in functional medicine and holistic nutrition that enhances her ability to bring comprehensive wellness programs to Velocity Wellness Institute. As Wellness Director, Dr. Horowitz can continue her health journey by reaching her patients in a different way. Her knowledge of nutrition, IV vitamin therapy, NAD+ and MIC helps to bridge the gap in health deficiencies and is effective for anti-aging, increasing athletic performance, neurodegenerative diseases, and general health and wellbeing. As a co-owner of Velocity Wellness Institute, Dr. Horowitz is able to focus her passion for health by implementing cutting edge health programs that are paramount for optimal patient care. ​

  Vanessa Basilio FNP-BC

  Nurse Practitioner | Director of Men’s Health

  Vanessa received her Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing and her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University. She is an ANCC board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Vanessa has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 15 years and has a variety of experience in different clinical settings including the Emergency Department, Pre-Operative, Family Practice, Skilled Nursing, Regenerative Medicine and Wellness. Vanessa is our newest addition to the practice and will be the Nurse Practitioner for the Men’s Wellness Program at Velocity Wellness Institute. Vanessa takes the time to assess, evaluate, and collaborate with her patients in order to achieve their ultimate health and wellness goals. She is in the process of completing a Medical Aesthetics Mentorship under the supervision of Dr. Kimberly Raymond, our Medical Director at Velocity Wellness.

  Amanda Guida

  Co-Owner | Wellness Director | Aesthetician

  Amanda has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2013. After graduating she knew her focus would be on skin & aesthetics. Amanda is highly trained in various medical grade skin procedures including microneedling, chemical peels, radio frequency treatments, microdermabrasion, derma planing and some new procedures we will be introducing at our practice soon! Amanda has been working in the field of aesthetic skincare for 7 years and is always keeping up to date with all of the latest skin treatments. With her experience and knowledge in medical grade skincare, Amanda strives for each individual patient to feel beautiful and confident in their skin.

• Brooke McDougle RN, BSN

  Nurse Injector

  Brooke was a student-athlete at the University of Maryland and received her first baccalaureate degree in the Science of kinesiology. Brooke then went on to the accelerated nursing program at University of New England and is a board certified registered nurse. Brooke has been practicing as a Registered Nurse for five years now. She was accepted into the nurse residency program for Visiting Nursing Association, providing full assessments, wound care, and organizing patients' overall plan of care. Brooke is one of our Nurse Injectors here at Velocity Wellness Institute and is skilled in creating an overall plan to achieve your ultimate goals. She is an Allergan Certified Botox Cosmetic Injector and has completed a Medical Aesthetics Mentorship under the supervision of Dr. Kimberly Raymond, our Medical Director at Velocity Wellness. She is also certified in IV Infusion Therapy, Coolsculpting, Purespin PRP, RejuvapenNXT, and Inmode Evolve technologies.

  Dr. John O'Connor

  Men's Health and Anti-Aging Director | Doctor of Chiropractic

  Dr. John O’Connor is a practicing chiropractic physician. For the last 20 years he has treated over 15,000 patients at his health and wellness centers, running the gamut from elite international athletes with complex sports injury rehabilitation needs to the everyday person simply trying to enjoy a pain free life. Dr. O’Connor has approached each patient with the same care goal in mind: Improving every patient's overall health and well being. With that in mind, the next iteration of the Velocity family of practice centers has organically evolved to include the Velocity Wellness Institute. As the men’s health and anti-aging director of the Velocity Wellness Institute, Dr. O’Connor is bringing solutions based, tried and true alternative anti-aging treatment options to the community. From peptide therapy to hormone replacement therapies and anti-aging nutritional supplementation, Doc doubles down on his commitment to helping men and women of a certain age continue to live their best lives.

  Matt Calabria, CSCS

  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

  Matt Calabria is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who has worked in the health, fitness and wellness industry for the last 9 plus years. After working in the personal training and rehab field for 6 plus years, he wanted to expand his expertise and get his Strength and Conditioning license to be able to share more knowledge with people on how to better themselves. Throughout his career at Velocity, he continued to expand his expertise and received his Coolsculpting Specialist Certificate. As a Certified Coolsculpting Specialist, Matt is able to treat patients and be a part of their transformation by performing this procedure. Along with Coolsculpting, Matt also helps patients transform their bodies by toning, strengthening and shaping with Evolve X. He is well driven and is very passionate about what he does when it comes to treating any patient at Velocity.
